While Pip and I take a little time out too write the next record, i want to call it “dan & pip’s bogus journey” but i don’t think i’ll be allowed, anyway in this time off it been pretty nice to fanny about doing other stuffs and this is one of those things…
The dan le sac Vs Scroobius Pip remix of Kid Carpet’s Make It Look Good is out now, I know we’ve plugged KC alot but the reason we do it is because we both think a great amount of the fella. Although musically not for everyone, some people can’t take his disregard for hifi and others can’t get past the gimmicky nature of using cheap casio’s but we just love it.
Part of being in a band for us is the opportunity to help other artists, we’re in an industry that is smothered in Marketing and PR but for smaller acts, acts that are just starting out, it can be impossible to find a space within it all to get heard or seen. So whenever we hear anything we like or love we’ll tell you about it!
